Win $500 with Pogo Stylus Contest

Do you have artistic talent and mad skills with a stylus?  Well, then you may be interested in Ten One Design’s $500 Art Challenge.  Entering the contest requires submitting an original piece of artwork created using a stylus.

Ten One Design makes styli for touch screen devices, including the Pogo Stylus for the iPhone and iPod Touch and the Pogo Sketch for the iPhone, iPod Touch, Blackberry Storm, and MacBook trackpad.  Fittingly for a stylus maker, the contest rules require submissions to have been completed using a stylus, no “naked fingers” allowed.

One winner will receive $500 in cash, based on an entry judged on “artistic skill, presentation, and creativity.”  Submissions, which are due by July 1, 2009, can be emailed or uploaded to Ten One Design.  The full contest announcement is here.  Or, if you (like me) lack talent but are of a curious nature, you can view the submissions in the gallery here.

Jeff’s interest in computers and technology began by watching too many Star Trek reruns after school. His first computer was a Timex-Sinclair, for which he had the 16K – yes, 16K – add-on pack. His current interest in gadgets was spurred on by the original Palm Pilot; from there it was a slippery slope to Pocket PCs, Archos media players, Sony Cliés, and various Apple products.
