USBFever.com always manages to come up with some very interesting items for the computing world, and it amazes me how much can be done through the simple interface of the USB port.

Last Christmas, I looked at a pair of heated USB-powered slippers, and as I write this am keeping my bottle of water cool thanks to a USB-powered drink chiller courtesy USBFever.com and CoolItSystems.com.

And now, I no longer have to figure out on my own which accessory I should be using. My new USB hub with built-in temperature gauges (in both Celsius and Fahrenheit) tells me to use the slippers when the dials point towards the left or the drink chiller when they point to the right.

OK, maybe I don’t really need a USB hub to tell me if it is hot or cold, but this device also boasts 3 angled USB ports as well as multi-format card reader.
