Are you Tweeting too Hard?

Definition of a egotist:  a person more interested in himself than in me.Ambrose Pierce

Ok, if you are one of the cool kids than obviously you know about Twitter.

Twitter is a service for friends, family, and co–workers to communicate and stay connected through the exchange of quick, frequent answers to one simple question: What are you doing?”

Just because Twitter is a great way to keep up with friends that we really want to friend, doesn’t mean that others are that into you. In our attempts to be socially conscious with our social networks… some (and it could be YOU) are just Tweeting too Hard.

Finally! There’s a site where self-important tweets get the recognition they deserve!

So if you are on Twitter, Submit a Tweet! or your own if you insist – I’m sure that everyone is entitled to your opinion…

@Salvador Dalí Every morning when I wake up, I experience an exquisite joy – the joy of being Salvador Dalí – and I ask myself in rapture: What wonderful things this Salvador Dalí is going to accomplish today? (hey Salvador – it’s a 140 characters not 194)

While we can offer some good nature ribbing; keep things in perspective: “The nice thing about egotists is that they don’t talk about other people.” – Lucille Harper

I’ve tried a couple of times now to get into Twitter. I’m still not crazy about it.

I generally see two types of twits (I’m sorry, I mean people who use Twitter!):

    1) someone who NEVER updates their status.

    2) someone who tells us EVERYTHING!

It almost seems like there’s no inbetween.

Personally, I’m just a twit who still fails to see the overall point other than to kill some time. I’ve yet to learn anything useful on it that I don’t get in a more useful way elsewhere.

I have found a reasonable middle ground with a number of folks and find it fairly useful.
