iBend – Not everything in life has to be fancy

We’ve seen some do it yourself iPhone and iPod Touch stands made from popsicle sticks and others made from paper clips.  Some stands sells for $50 or more.  While I’m all for cool DIY inventions, I do prefer just a little style to my gadget accessories.  The iBend is made from lightweight vinyl and is meant to hold your device in the landscape position so that you can watch movies and videos hands free, mostly while flying on an airplane.

Each pack of iBends contains two stands, one white and one black and sells for $4.99.  iBend has logged over 57,000 miles in the air testing their product, and they claim it’s maintained its stability for all of them.  The product comes in 100% recycled shipping material, and the company is working on making the iBend itself from recycled materials as well.  You can get more information and order a pack of iBends from the manufacturer’s web site.

I have always had a passion for gear and gadgets. It all started for me with the release of the very first Palm Pilot. I've always had an interest in handheld electronics. From handheld PDAs, to cell phones, Mp3 players, watches and other products, I'm the first person my friends, family and colleagues call when they need advice on tech. I have roots in the online tech. forum community. I served as the Administrator to Howard Forums.com and as a Moderator at both Treo Central.com and Blackberry Forums.net. Under the screen name “lgreenberg” I've amassed 50,000+ postings. I also manage my own YouTube channel under the user name larrygreenberg. I'm always eager to help.
