As I wrote last week, there are many of us here on Gear Diary who are fans of speck’s awesome cases. My MacBook has had one on from nearly day one of ownership and, as Judie mentioned to me last week, her MacBook Air NEVER leaves its Speck shell. Having a father who was heavily involved in early laser and fiber-optical research, Dan grew up surrounded by technology and gadgets.     I bought a new iPod Touch in an effort to maintain my sanity (meditation and yoga music, podcasts, good tunes, etc.) during a 2-month trip to care for my aging and ill ~ but still cantankerous! ~ parents during a health crisis. It worked . . . I think: at least no one has looked at me too strangely since my return! I can vouch for the fact that both my parents and I survived the ordeal.

    Would be thrilled with a lovely case for the much-used and truly-loved iPod; it goes with me EVERYWHERE and would appreciate some protection. It could be sort of a reward for the months Elder Care??

    I want it because I got the iPhone 3G case from your last give away on MySpace and I thought it was really awesome for you guys to do that!
    Only problem is, I had to return my iPhone 3G because my mom wouldn’t let me sell my iPod Touch 2G to pay for the $30 a month…
    So It’d be cool if I got the one for my iPod Touch 2G!

    Even if I don’t get the case, I’ll still recommend you guys because you’re awesome!
