It’s been a while since we did a celebrity device guessing game, and it’s definitely time to do one again! The rules are simple – guess which device the famous (or infamous) celebrity is holding by filling in the blanks; submit your answers in the comments below, and we’ll randomly choose three winners from the correct submissions.
You don’t have to get the exact model number correct when guessing, but you do have to have the correct maker and a close guess on the model.

geek4life – those Hermes bags are $6K and up…!
How I found the correct answers? That’s why it takes me so long to get these contests together- first I have to gather the photos, then I have to be able to more or less identify what I am looking at. Sometimes I can’t even tell. 
Heatwave – the only one I have found is http://celebrityblackberrysightings.com/. It would be a neat blog feature to post celebrity gadget sightings regularly. I may start doing that…it gives me an excuse to keep them in my RSS.

I definitely thought it was a fun contest. I like challlenging my geek skills.
If you took this as a device survey, Blackberry and iPhone have the rich locked up.
Anything that makes airport travel easier is a plus in my book.

I tracked down the original images (higher quality) to make better IDs…inner geek drove me to it. Plus, it helps to know what the police seized during a raid of Markoff’s place. By far my favorite Blackbery, though I am a WM user.
Heatwave: You can have the Checkthrough Brief if you want. The Brief has more ‘features’ and a higher retail value, but I really need the flip-open access of the Messenger. If that’s fine with you, we can save Judie the coin flip.

All I found on Markoff was that it was a Blackberry, and then I made an educated guess on the model.
geek4like – I would be fine with the brief. I can definitely cram all my gear in there. Obviously, its up to Judy, so if she wants to coin flip, that’s ok too.
Although, I hope we get the answers. I think alot of our differences are on blackberry models, so I would be curious which was really which.

#4 really reminds me of the LG enV, but there must be a higher end version. I can’t see Sharon using a cheaper phone. DOn’t all celebs need expensive phones

Send me an email at judie@geardiary.com. I had a lot of people enter, but they sent me emails; when I told them to post here, they chose not to. Odd, huh? I guess they were too afraid of others copying (or something), but they wound up voiding their entries.
I’ll update this post with more info shortly; it’s been a long weekend and I am digging through a list of to-dos. In the meantime, you and Heather can send me your info, and I’ll forward it to Michael.
