Hey! Â Didn’t BlackBerry users just get an updated Facebook release in April? Â Well, looks like ‘Berry users may get some additional features with Facebook 1.6, which is expected to launch May 28th at 5pm EST.
BerryReview caught wind of the Facebook application update and listed some of the new features that are expected, including:
* Feed support – view and comment on friends status updates and highlights
* Profile and wall viewing – view and comment on friends’ profiles and wall
updates
*Â Improved photo viewing – view and comment on pictures
Facebook is one of the most popular applications for BlackBerry users, and it is exciting to see so many frequent updates for the “pro-sumer” crowd that uses the device for both work and play!

What I like best about BlackBerry’s implementation is they throw all the notifications into your email inbox. This also true for instant messages as well. If you are in the midst of having an online chat – there’s no need to look into another application -most of the modern apps will send the chat (or Facebook) notification right to email/inbox.
Very cool — and unique. One of the areas besides email that BlackBerry is actually AHEAD on..
