The Wall Street Journal reported yesterday that Verizon Wireless will be carrying the Palm Pre in their stores starting January 2010. There was some confusion a few weeks ago when Verizon Wireless CEO Lowell McAdam said that “over the next six months or so you will see devices like the Palm Pre” coming to Verizon. It’s probably still too early to say whether the exact same model of Palm Pre will appear at Verizon or perhaps a derivative of the Web OS based device.

Dan Hesse’s response was that Sprint’s exclusive is “not six months.” So yes, I believe Verizon (& possibly AT&T) will get the Pre once Sprint’s exclusive is up. When will that be? Pass the dartboard.
