For those people who ordered their new iPhone 3G S phones from Apple.com for home delivery there seemed to be some confusion as to when they’d receive their phone.
Although Apple promised delivery on 6/19, launch day, did that mean phones would actually be delivered to the consumer’s door that day or just be shipped out by Apple to arrive sometime the following week?
Confusion over.
I ordered my iPhone from Apple.com on 6/9.
My order status always said “delivered by 6/19.”
This morning I received an e-mail from Apple.com letting me know my order has shipped.
The e-mail included a UPS tracking number which shows my phone is on its way from China!

Only four more days of waiting.

Wow. Maybe I should have not been the guy who reserved and will wait in line!
