Having a father who was heavily involved in early laser and fiber-optical research, Dan grew up surrounded by technology and gadgets. Dan’s father brought home one of the very first video games when he was young and Dan remembers seeing a “pre-release” touchtone phone. (When he asked his father what the “#” and “*” buttons were his dad said, “Some day, far in the future, we’ll have some use for them.”)
Technology seemed to be in Dan’s blood but at some point he took a different path and ended up in the clergy. His passion for technology and gadgets never left him. +Dan Cohen
A nice update on Apple’s success! I’m not sure if this was a video of a printout, or a release on screen, but it made me think that you should invest in screencasting software so you can demonstrate things on your screen while recording a voiceover. Camtasia is expensive (PC), but Screenflow is only $99…but it’s for Macs. Another reason for you to consider switching!

Hey Paul-
Thanks-
I should have made it clearer that I recorded this using the iPhone 3GS and uploaded it to YouTube in seconds. I know the quality is poor but the fun of being able to record and upload from the handset trumped the lousy image. Bit of an oversight on my part not to make that super clear.
I actually have and use a couple of different applications, including iShowU HD. Will be checking out screenflow- thanks!
