My first thought after taking my first video with the iPhone 3GS… “Flip better move quickly to add features because this thing is going to be huge.”
My second thought after taking my first video with the iPhone 3GS… “Flip will be okay. The Ultra HD takes much better pictures and only owners of new iPhones get the video goodies.”
My thought today after hearing word that Apple just ordered TONS of video camera modules that will likely be used in the next gen Touch and, since the order is SO larger, even the Nano… “Game Over???”
(video quality on iPhone and Mac is excellent, on YouTube… not so much)
iPod Touch with video… NICE, but I still love my Flip and hope there is room for both!
Having a father who was heavily involved in early laser and fiber-optical research, Dan grew up surrounded by technology and gadgets. Dan’s father brought home one of the very first video games when he was young and Dan remembers seeing a “pre-release” touchtone phone. (When he asked his father what the “#” and “*” buttons were his dad said, “Some day, far in the future, we’ll have some use for them.”)
