My kids are total baseball addicts. They can name every player (and position) for the Red Sox. They’re also great at running commentary – which typically evolves into “he stinks” or “way over-rated”. The kids also play baseball about 10 times a day. Ok, well that’s an exaggeration though it sometimes seems that often. Doug’s got a great review of iScore Baseball Scorekeeping for iPhone/Touch over on Just Another Mobile Monday. This graphical application lets you keep track of everything going on during a baseball game – hits, outs, pitches, etc. While I sometimes shake my head at the prices people pay for useless apps like farting and burping – this one’s priced at $4.99 and seems like it would be invaluable for anyone who is into baseball or even just scoring along with a game from home on their couch.
