Enjoy watching movies on the big screen but dislike the hassle that’s sometimes associated with heading out to the theater?

You can skip the lines, make your popcorn any which way you like it and still get that big picture viewing experience all in the comfort of your own home with the Epson MovieMate.

The MovieMate is a high-definition projector, DVD and music player combo that displays content in precision 720p resolution.

It features a built in DVD/CD player and four 5W Dolby stereo speakers.  The device projects images up to eight times larger than on a 40-inch, widescreen TV.

The Epson MovieMate 72 works with video games, movies and more. It works with the Apple iPod, Nintendo Wii, Sony, PS3™ or Microsoft Xbox 360™ video game systems.  You can connect it to high-definition devices via HDMI as well.

The MovieMate 72 displays an 80-inch, widescreen image from just 6 1/2 feet away, or a 120-inch image from just 10 feet away!

It’s totally portable which means you can take your movie theater anywhere.

The MovieMate 72 sells for $1,100 and there is a lower priced 55 model for $700.

How about a Sunday night BBQ with friends and movie screening in the backyard on one of those giant blow up screens?

Can you say hit of the neighborhood!

You can learn more about the MovieMate 72 on the Epson web site.

I have always had a passion for gear and gadgets. It all started for me with the release of the very first Palm Pilot. I've always had an interest in handheld electronics. From handheld PDAs, to cell phones, Mp3 players, watches and other products, I'm the first person my friends, family and colleagues call when they need advice on tech. I have roots in the online tech. forum community. I served as the Administrator to Howard Forums.com and as a Moderator at both Treo Central.com and Blackberry Forums.net.
