The iPhone 3GS video apps keep rollin’ in. Here is one for the social media fiend in all of us who need another way to alert your Twitter Followers of new and exciting updates via movin’ pictures.
Peter Cohen at MacWorld confirmed that the new TwitVid application is now available on the iTunes App Store. The free app makes the process of “tweeting” your videos much simpler (previously, users would go through TwitVid.com and use the web based version). You can also easily share your video to MySpace, Facebook, and YouTube via TwitVid’s “AutoShare” feature.
TwitVid video uploading requires an iPhone or iPod Touch running the 3.0 OS (for videos you may have saved to your 1st gen or 3G iPhone or Touch). Recording videos directly still requires you to be using the iPhone 3GS
.
Real-time updates from social media mavens are going to get much more interesting as video uploads continue to soar. Let’s hope those servers can take the hits.
Download TwitVid.

I love the fact that you can shoot with with the iPhone in portrait and the app rotates the image so it is correct.
