So the path traced on the floor is an ellipse, not the fun random patterns displayed. I don't think my cat cares, but I was a little annoyed. I like the fact that it's a laser toy that uses AAs. Buying coin cells is for the birds. I guess I'm not TOO disappointed, I just wish the marketing materials weren't misleading.
