Mobile Edge’s ECO Grocery Tote is Handy and Green

Posted on 19 July 2009 by

Mobile Edge has long been known for their competitively priced and stylish laptop bags. With the introduction of their ECO Collection, they’ve also added a new adjective – green!

When you purchase a Messenger or Casual Tote from the ECO line, Mobile Edge will include a grocery tote as a lagniappe. Michael will soon have a review of the ECO Messenger ready, but in the meantime, let’s look at the Grocery Tote!

We all know the reasons why it makes sense to bring along your own reusable grocery totes – they cut down on plastic bag production and environmental waste, and the additional benefit of not using them is that you help cut down on the number of bags that inevitably blow out of the back of trucks or trashcans. Think about it: How many plastic bags have you seen stuck to bushes on the side of the road? They are a total eyesore!

If you need a well constructed and heavy duty grocery sack, but you don’t yet need a new laptop bag, you can also order ECO Grocery Totes for $4.99 each. I’ve got two of them, and in addition to being used for carrying groceries, they make great pool totes or travel toy bags for the kids.

You can cut down on plastic bag waste by getting your Mobile Edge ECO Grocery Tote here.

I started Gear Diary on September 30, 2006, and my goal was that this not be an easily labeled site. We all have gear that we use daily – some of it electronic and some of it organic. I think it is fascinating to explore the equipment that makes our lives easier, more entertaining, more productive, and more manageable. My hope is that Gear Diary visitors will find this site to be a comfortable and friendly place to discuss interesting topics – and not only those that are tech related, as well as a location to discover various types of gear – whatever that term may end up implying – that they never knew existed. My specialty is in-depth reviews written in a layman’s terms, because everyone can understand technology, sometimes it just takes a little translating. +Judie Stanford
