Many competing companies do similar things, and as the competition outweighs the cooperation, the alliances fade. This is a clear message that Google's not striking any alliances with Apple any time soon. Perhaps that had already been made clear with Android though Android is open source and could have left the door open for Google to get a bigger spot on the iPhone and perhaps Apple OS. Game on -- watch for Google to seriously escalate their OS plans. That's my bet at least... I think there’s more to it than Google Voice.
