There’s lots of things that our kids don’t know about. Mine have never seen a record player, records, manual typewriter, or cassette tape player. I’m not sure that any of that is bad. The price of progress means that some technology just becomes obsolete. I still can remember when faxes were not only new but so expensive that my company had would only lease them instead of heading to the office supply store and throwing a new model into the shopping cart. If you’re keen on boring your kids with tales about old school technology you used as a kid – check out these cassette tapes made into iPod Nano cases. Like a nostalgic stuff they’re expensively priced at $49 CAD.
