Seventeen Guide Screen

Do you have a teen daughter or fashionista that regularly hits the mall and spends hours just looking around to find the latest hip and trendy clothes or accessories?  That is soooooo 2008.    Now your teens can simply use their iPhone to search for clothing by product (jeans, bags, shoes, etc), trends, or price.  Thanks to NearbyNow and Seventeen Magazine, there’s (now) an app for that!

NearbyNow, a digital shopping concierge service, has partnered with Seventeen Magazine and launched an iPhone application that merges mallrats with mobile technology to provide girls with  “social shopping.”   Users can browse,  locate,  and reserve products in their local area to save time (or just hang out in the food court a bit longer).  The application also gives users the option to review fashions and share their updates with friends.

Here’s a video that shows off  NearbyNow  for navigating through shopping centers:

The Seventeen Fashion Finder app is available for free via the iTunes App Store.
