I agree Doug- the LinkedIn applications really suck. The iPhone version isn’t any better. I use LinkedIn quite a bit for the discussion forum and there’s zero support of that on the mobile apps. I also found the iPhone version to be very sketchy at setting your status update.

Oh, and I find most people on LinkedIn are what I’d term “suit and ties” — they’re people who have no idea about Social Networking but think that LinkedIn is the one site they should be on. So their updates are boring and they tend to be relatively dormant users – and boring.

Some of the LinkedIn groups should really be re-titled “Recruiter Central” since they appear to have largely been taken over by job posters.
