Ahhh, the beginning of a brand new week. The slate is clean and it’s time to get your Monday started off right. So sit back, grab (another) cup of coffee and let’s take a look at some of last week’s highlights. You know, like Microsoft being ordered to stop selling Word within 60 days. There’ s just nothing quite like software patents to throw a kink into your week. Que sera, sera. At least Mac users will finally be able to look forward use Outlook when Office 2010 hits the streets.
So, what else was going on last week….

Have you been keeping up with Doug’s 30 apps in 30 days for the Palm Pre? You should. While the WebOS app catalog is still in its early stages, Doug Goldring has been hitting an app-a-day to give you the scoop on what goodies Pre users can use to get the most out of their smartphone (maybe Palm should hire Doug to do a few ads … instead of creeping everyone out with pasty Zen wierdness). This week’s Pre-goodness came with some reviews of Tweed, Suduko, Palm Classic, Good Food, Open Table, Linkedin, and Spades.

Would You Give Up Your iPhone 3GS for the HTC Hero?

It’s no secret that while people love their iPhones, many are a little put off over the recent Apple-AT&T issues with some developers (especially with regards to Google Voice) . Will folks drop their iPhone for Android? Dan got a HTC Hero last week. Did the Hero’s hardware and OS win Dan over?
