If you are reading this, either you’ve never played Plants vs. Zombies or a loved one has extracted you from your PC and uninstalled the game so you could go back to being a productive member of society. Yes, it is THAT addicting!
Today Popcap Games announced that the hit casual ‘Tower Defense’ style game will be branching out to the iTunes App Store and XBox Live Arcade (XBLA) later this year. Price and further details are still not known.
What IS known is that I will grab the version off the App Store on the day it is released, and that you might never hear from me again!
I have loved technology for as long as I can remember - and have been a computer gamer since the PDP-10! Mobile Technology has played a major role in my life - I have used an electronic companion since the HP95LX more than 20 years ago, and have been a 'Laptop First' person since my Compaq LTE Lite 3/20 and Powerbook 170 back in 1991! As an avid gamer and gadget-junkie I was constantly asked for my opinions on new technology, which led to writing small blurbs ... and eventually becoming a reviewer many years ago. My family is my biggest priority in life, and they alternate between loving and tolerating my gaming and gadget hobbies ... but ultimately benefits from the addition of technology to our lives!
My 7-year-old son is addicted to that game. Fortunately, he generally monopolizes my wife’s PC to play it. Sounds like we’ll be purchasing the new versions for my wife’s iPod Touch and my Xbox.
