I admit it, my iPhone 3GS has spoiled me. Since getting it I have barely used my Pure Digital Flip Camcorders. It’s not because Flip’s offerings aren’t good though. Quite the contrary. Flip’s cameras get the job done and they get it done well.
Smaller and lighter than the original Flip or the UltraHD, the Flip Mino brings some style to the boxy camcorders. Sure it is looking increasingly likely that you’ll be able to get an iPod touch or nano with integrated video soon, but at $69.99 this Mino 60 is a steal.
Having a father who was heavily involved in early laser and fiber-optical research, Dan grew up surrounded by technology and gadgets. Dan’s father brought home one of the very first video games when he was young and Dan remembers seeing a “pre-release” touchtone phone. (When he asked his father what the “#” and “*” buttons were his dad said, “Some day, far in the future, we’ll have some use for them.”)
