About a week ago I posted a review for the iPhone app ColorClaw. I was having serious issues with my photos losing aspect ratio and becoming distorted. All of the photos I used were taken with my iPhone 3GS and were not adjusted before using the app. I was contacted later that day by Andrew Crawford from Green Parrot Pictures who was very concerned with the issues I was having. Through many emails and some trouble shooting, he was able to send me an update within two days.
Here are some before and after photos.
Here is the photo I began with and what it looked like inside the app. The bottom picture is the final product. I was also not very happy with the color adjustments.

Here is the same work flow and starting image after the update.

As you can see, the issue is indeed fixed! I took an awful picture and made it useful. The aspect ratio remained perfect and the color seemed to be applied much better.
The issue here is not just that the app was fixed and works well now. The issue is the dedication and care of the developers. Andrew at Green Parrot Pictures was professional and friendly (unlike a certain case company!) His main concern was fixing the issue and fixing it as quickly as possible. I applaud his work and dedication to the app as well as his tact for getting the issues solved! The newest version was approved by Apple today and should be up any minute. You can check out Color Claw for yourself here in the app store!
