You may be completely correct most people may not give a crap about this but...
if it keeps up it just might, in the long run, lead to a serious degree of stagnation with the platform... especially as Android makes its move over the next year or two.
In addition, what has truly given the platform legs is the wealth of apps available for it. I'm not a developer but were I I might think twice before investing a huge amount of time and resources into developing an app that may or may not ultimately be approved or, if approved, might be suddenly removed or neutered at Apple whim.
If that begins to have an impact we'll end up with plenty of fart and 5000 sound apps while the developers of the really good apps, the ones that MAKE the platform time time, development etc will move on to a platform that is worth their investment.
Are we there right now? Nope. not even close. But if it keeps up... just watch.

doogald-

You may be completely correct most people may not give a crap about this but…<br

The complaints of the app store seems to be in the echo chamber of the tech press and that's about it.

I honestly think that the vast majority of iPhone user don’t give a crap about all of this.

The complaints of the app store seems to be in the echo chamber of the tech press and that’s about it.
