There are quite a few iPhone application review sites available one the web.  These sites usually focus on the “hot” applications, the popular ones from the big name developers.

What about those strange applications that are sometimes unseen by the average iPhone user?

We’ve all scratched our heads at one time or another at the various “odd” applications which make their way into the iTunes App Store.

Dan and I even made a video about a few of them and posted it here.

Krapps takes it a whole lot further.

Krapps.com is a web site dedicated not to the insanely popular iPhone apps but rather those odd ball ones which often make us wonder, “someone really buys these?”

Yes there’s the countless fart apps but there’s also a ton of other applications that make you cringe and wonder too and Krapps covers them all.

Check out Krapps.com for a look at the “other” iTunes App Store.

I have always had a passion for gear and gadgets. It all started for me with the release of the very first Palm Pilot. I've always had an interest in handheld electronics. From handheld PDAs, to cell phones, Mp3 players, watches and other products, I'm the first person my friends, family and colleagues call when they need advice on tech. I have roots in the online tech. forum community. I served as the Administrator to Howard Forums.com and as a Moderator at both Treo Central.com and Blackberry Forums.net. Under the screen name “lgreenberg” I've amassed 50,000+ postings. I also manage my own YouTube channel under the user name larrygreenberg. I'm always eager to help.
