The Franklin Institute, one of the county’s best science museums has announced the winners of their most recent contest.

Over the last few months the Institute has run a Star Trek exhibit featuring the world’s most comprehensive collection of authentic Star Trek objects.  From the Next Generation Bridge, to the Engine Room, to sitting in Kirk’s original captain’s chair, STAR TREK: THE EXHIBITION “not only relives the legacy but invites you to be a part of the Enterprise”

Now one lucky couple will be married inside the exhibit in a themed out Star Trek wedding.

Brad & Kate, from Phoenixville, PA, who won the institute’s contest which asked couples to submit their stories, will soon be married on the deck of the U.S.S. Enterprise inside the exhibit.

Wedding memories that will almost certainly last a life time.

I have always had a passion for gear and gadgets. It all started for me with the release of the very first Palm Pilot. I've always had an interest in handheld electronics. From handheld PDAs, to cell phones, Mp3 players, watches and other products, I'm the first person my friends, family and colleagues call when they need advice on tech. I have roots in the online tech. forum community. I served as the Administrator to Howard Forums.com and as a Moderator at both Treo Central.com and Blackberry Forums.net. Under the screen name “lgreenberg” I've amassed 50,000+ postings. I also manage my own YouTube channel under the user name larrygreenberg. I'm always eager to help.

Damn, I’m sorry I didn’t know about this…though judging from the death look I am getting, my fiancee is not nearly as torn up about it. :)
