I turned on my iPhone after it was off for a few hours (a relative rarity) to find the above messages from Larry.
You cannot believe how fast the new version of Jott is on the iPhone. It sends the message as soon as you hit stop, like a second later. Testing it again just to make sure.
“Hmmm…” I thought, “Jott was updated. Always a good thing but stop exaggerating Larry…”
So I downloaded the update, launched it, added back my contacts (the update removed them GRRRRRR) and found that…

Larry wasn’t exaggerating at all. In the past you had to wait… and wait… and wait… Now, however, tap convert to text and… bam it is off. The update to Jott pretty much sends the message to its servers about a second after you hit “Stop”.
While I don’t notice the process of converting the message and returning it being any faster now but the fact that it sends it so quickly is convenient and lets you create Jotts one Jott after another. Oh, and the accuracy of the conversion to text… awesome.
Now if Jott’s iPhone app only let you respond to individual emails you receive instead of just create new ones…
