Remember the Milk, the popular online Todo list manager, is well-known for not just for having an intuitive web-based interface, but also for their wide array of ways to access your data. Add another one to the list. Today, a new native Android client was released.
Remember the Milk has had offerings including Gmail, Google Calendar, sync access for BlackBerry and Windows Mobile, as well as a mobile web application and a native iPhone application. Until now, Android users had to use either the mobile web version or a third-party client.
Today a new Android client was released and is available for free for users of their Pro subscription service (available for $25/year). Access to sync on mobile devices and the native Android and iPhone clients all are available for Pro users only.
The Android version offers some unique advantages even over the iPhone client and includes such features as:
- Background sync
- Use of the Android notification bar for alerts
- Ability to view and order individual lists or Smart Lists
- A quick “add task” bar, which operates the same way as the newly added feature on the full web version
- Ability to show tasks that are nearby by location
- Search capability
- And a desktop widget (see below)

I have been beta testing this for a while, and can safely say that this is an excellent way to access Remember the Milk when mobile on your Android phone! The instant/background sync capabilities are seamless and fast. No need for a third-party service any more.
