Trying to get a general feel for whether this is a good deal for our house or not and wondering about the V-Tech quality over the years. From the quick review here it looks like a winner for us, but I'll want to at least see one before buying. How are calls on Speaker? We use that somewhat regularly with other people and to allow easy hands-free when we need it. I'm not as interested in the answering machine because we use an outside Voice Mail, but I'm sure that can be turned off. I'd love to hear a bit more about this after a little more real-world use if that's possible. :) I’ll have to admit that this looks very interesting.
