Also, iheartradio is incredibly innovative since it's streamed on the internet in Apple's high quality AAC format. This enables those who love to listen to their favorite radio stations (mine is Q104.3) through the iPhone's or iPod Touch's Wi-Fi connectivity instead. Honestly, what's more awesome then rocking out to some free tunes on the radio while even being able to text or phone in to win prizes. Usually, they can be concert tickets to classic rock & roll acts such as Pearl Jam, Bob Dylan, other artists/bands, and maybe even cash depending on what radio station you like to listen to!

I recently got an app called iheartradio, which allows you to listen to over 350 different radio stations. isPermaLink="false">http://www.geardiary.com/?p=53960#comment-50596

I couldn't just list 1. I'm going to list 3, because 2 are via Cydia (don't know if that counts in this contest) and one was purchased in the app store but was free.
The first and most important of the 3 listed here is BiteSMS. It is a replacement sms application for jailbroken iPhones that allows quick composing and replying of text messages from any screen without having to close what you are doing to open the TxtMessage program. It is amazing. This is what iPhone texting should have been all along. $7.95 http://www.bitesms.com/
2nd is Chronus via Cydia. It quickly and easily backs up many of my app store apps. With all the updates Apple has released lately Chronus has been a God-send. It has allowed me to easily backup and save my app data, like bookmarks and notes in my BibleReader, high scores and game saves in my games just about everything. It was well worth the $7. You can use the free version, but paying allows you to take more than one backup and allows you to backup many applications with the press of one button. http://kiwa.lunarmania.com/suspended.page/?page_id=50
The second application is Quicken Online Mobile. QOM is free via iTunes http://itunes.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewSoftware?id=313441563&mt=8
And I've just got it this week. And while I have some complaints about it, I love the fact that I can have easy access to my checking account and keep track of my funds. It partners with the free service Quicken Online...which I came to because my MS Money wouldn't activate on my rebuilt bootcamp partition so I started searching for alternatives. http://quicken.intuit.com/personal-finance-software/free-online-money-management.jsp
The online version is great. I really love it. It works flawlessly with my bank and credit card companies. And the iPhone companion app is really good too...with one complaint. The data in the iPhone app doesn't appear to sync from the server to the app everytime you open it. Usually it only gets new data once a day or whenever you sign in to Quicken Online from a computer or browser. But any transactions I enter into the iPhone application quickly appear in my online version.
I think the problem is that the online version only updates the data from the banks once a day or whenever you sign in and hit the refresh button. I wish the iPhone app could 'refresh' or 'download' new data from my banks. I would hope they would update their application to allow data refresh...I would gladly pay money for this type of application that was more instantaneous. But for free, it is a good start and I'm glad I have it.
whew...sorry for so much. I just kept thinking of things I wanted to share with everyone.

I couldn’t just list 1. I had been reading about it for a while, but put off purchasing it. I then broke down (I don't typically play many games, but prefer to read news on short breaks) and tried the "Lite" version. Game play is great and I love having a game I can sit and play and just burn up a few minutes of down time, no heavy thinking involved (e.g. vs. puzzle games).

Com2Us’ Homerun Battle. I just got an iPhone and realized quickly that I could go without turning on my laptop at home. The only way I am able to do so is with BeeJive. I am still able to communicate with friends, family and coworkers easily. At first I was taken back by the $10 price tag, but after a month of using it I am very happy with the purchase.

BeeJive IM.

I just got an iPhone and realized quickly that I could go without turning on my laptop at home. I have a hour and half commute and it keeps me busy after a long day of work. I can just relax and work on my virtual swing. It is by far the best game I have played on the iphone.
I look forward to my commute when I have this jewel on my iphone.

The one app that I love and use daily is Tiger Woods PGA 10. The reason is many times I would want to take pictures in poor lighting with my iphone and would hmm and hah about whether I should because I knew they wouldn't come out great and I would have to upload them to my computer and take them into Photoshop to fix them etc etc. I love this app because its simple to use and lets me get a little creative as well! It makes my little iphone camera fun again! Love it!

While I have gotten many apps lately the one that I “love” would have to be PS Mobile.
