Tunewear announced the release of there newest product the Visual Dock.  The dock is a media player docking station with remote control for your iPhone, iPod Touch or iPod.  It features S-video and line outputs which allow you to easily set up and enjoy movies, photos and music stored in your iPhone or iPod by simply connecting VisualDock to a television or stereo.

The surfaces of both VisualDock and the remote control are rubber coated giving them a smooth and unique texture. The benefit of the remote control is that it allows navigation of the iPhone and iPod menu from a distance so you can sit back and enjoy video and music from anywhere in the room.

When the Visual Dock is connected to a computer via a dock cable, a switch on the back of VisualDock allows you to choose between sync and charge, or charge only modes so you can control when you want to sync your iPhone or iPod with iTunes.

Seven sizes of dock adapters ranging from old to new models of iPhone and iPod are included. A USB power adapter is also included which can be used not only to power VisualDock, but could also be used to charge USB devices.

The device is available for $79.95 here.

I have always had a passion for gear and gadgets. It all started for me with the release of the very first Palm Pilot. I've always had an interest in handheld electronics. From handheld PDAs, to cell phones, Mp3 players, watches and other products, I'm the first person my friends, family and colleagues call when they need advice on tech. I have roots in the online tech. forum community. I served as the Administrator to Howard Forums.com and as a Moderator at both Treo Central.com and Blackberry Forums.net. Someday, someone in the CE biz will realize that s-video died 12 years ago when one of the pins got permanently logged in the jack.

    :(
