NPR is reporting on the curious case of a gentleman who jury-rigged his La-z-Boy to become an electric chair with a lawnmower motor. It seems like a joke, but apparently it was quite real.

That by itself would be interesting, but what really makes this story eyebrow raising is that he rode it to the local bar, drank too much, and was arrested for a DWI. In a recliner. That he outfitted with cupholders and a stereo.

My only question is where can I get one???
