Booq is introducing a new computer case- The Viper rush. The Viper rush is a semi-rigid work-in laptop case. It is made from high density foam and offers a high degree of protection.

As a “work-in bag” it opens about 120 degrees to provide in-bag access to the machine. That means you can open the bag, get some work done and then pack up again in seconds. It isn’t JUST a work-in bag, though. Lightweight, protective, roomy enough for basic accessories, the bag is a great daily bag whether you use the work-in feature or not.

The bag also comes with Terralinq service which helps reunite and owner with her bag if it is lost.

The Viper rush is available from www.booqbags.com and various retailers.

The Viper rush M ( 15″ MAC ) and the Viper rush XL ( 17″ MAC, 15″ PC) have an MSRP of $129.95

Having a father who was heavily involved in early laser and fiber-optical research, Dan grew up surrounded by technology and gadgets. Dan’s father brought home one of the very first video games when he was young and Dan remembers seeing a “pre-release” touchtone phone. (When he asked his father what the “#” and “*” buttons were his dad said, “Some day, far in the future, we’ll have some use for them.”) Technology seemed to be in Dan’s blood but at some point he took a different path and ended up in the clergy. His passion for technology and gadgets never left him. +Dan Cohen
