There is so much great material out there for language learners, there is no need to spend a lot of money. The most important factor by far is motivation. There are plenty of free resources to be found at our site at http://www.LingQ.com. A large library of podcast, audiobooks, etc. all with transcript and our vocabulary learning functionality. We do also offer tutoring services which you have to pay for but there are opportunities to earn credits for tutoring by tutoring yourself and by creating lessons for other members.
