It makes me wonder if the extra heat will reduce the life of the battery. Palm battery. Though I will admit that on a normal day, I tend to keep it on the Touchstone charger most of the time, which tends to make the battery hot to begin with. You certainly need to "season" a new battery. I actually had this one for about a few weeks before I started my testing. So, it should have been well seasoned. I only really discussed in my review the one day I spent "testing", but I was paying attention any time I used the battery. and through all of my use, I found it handled anything I threw at it almost exactly the same as the OEM battery. So, from my experience, it was a good replacement battery, but not really high capacity. Jsage, you are absolutely right. You certainly need to “season” a new battery. You will not get full capacity out of a brand-new lithium polymer battery until it has a few charge/discharge cycles under it's belt.
