Dance Dance Revolution Dance Pad Purse

Do you have an old, broken Dance Dance Revolution dance pad collecting dust in your video game collection?  If so, you might want to take a cue from Liz McLean Knight and make yours into a stylish yet uber geeky purse!

Liz had a DDR dance pad with a stuck control, so she decided to refashion it into something useful.  She cut a pattern out of the dance pad, added some thin foam and a lining, and sewed it all together.  If you’re interested in seeing the construction process documented so that you can make your own DDR bag, Liz put some very detailed pictures on her blog.

With Christmas right around the corner, a handmade DDR bag might be the perfect gift for the dedicated video game player or funky fashionista on your list.
