I posted its review yesterday, and today I’ve got two Callpod Fueltank DUOs to share. How can you get yours? Read on…
All you have to do is leave a comment telling me which devices you use everyday, and how long your battery usually lasts.
I’ll pick two random winners on Sunday night.
Prize packages will include a Callpod Fueltank DUO in original packaging ($69.95 value) including the base unit, an AC/DC wall plug, a miniUSB adapter, a carrying pouch, and a voucher good for one free adapter of your choice (a $9.95 value redeemable at Callpod.com). I’ll also include an extra adapter cable if I have one that matches one of your devices.
This giveaway is open to the US only, and we’ll accept entries until midnight CT Sunday, November 22nd; I’ll post the winner shortly after.
Good luck!

I have had a fascination with all types of gadgets and gizmos since I was a child, beginning with the toy robot that my grandmother gave my brother - and which I promptly "relieved him of" in 1973. I have long been captivated by devices that did anything interesting or served a unique purpose - however silly.
My first computer was a TRaSh-80, and since then I have worked my way through an alarming number of desktops, laptops and handheld devices.
I have been writing online consumer device reviews since 1999, and I've greatly enjoyed having a legitimate reason to try out almost every doo-dad that catches my fancy. I can't tell you how everything works - but I am known for using a product until I have a full understanding of what it does, what its limitations are, and if it excels in any given area...or not.

My iPhone and external GPS. My iPhone is charged daily (anywhere from a full day’s worth of usage to about 4 or 5 hours on the weekends when I’m reading) My GPS is around 1 to 2 hours (it’s older), only charged on days before I geocache!
I use an iPhone all day everyday and the battery usually lasts until bedtime. It definitely needs charging daily.
I use an iphone 3g. I start work at 8am and the battery is dead by 3:30pm. Thank you for this contest and the opportunity to win a great device to boost my iphone use and make me a bit more productive.
This would be hugely useful. My main devices at the moment are an iPod Touch and candy bar style slider dumbphone. iPod goes to 50% battery daily and the phone can last two days with an hour’s talk use per day before I like to top it off again.
Looks great. My two devices are a Moto Q phone, which generally lasts about a day, and my new Verizon HTC Touch Pro 2 phone, which also lasts about a day.
I use an ATT Tilt. The battery generally lasts about a day, depending upon how heavy I use it. I also have a couple other devices that could benefit from added battery juice.
I use my iPhone 3G S everyday and it usually lasts all day for me, except when I forget and skip charges.
I use my iphone 3gs everyday and i usually get 5-8 hours pending on how much i use the phone
HTC Tytan II (Sprint Mogul), lasts about 5-6 hrs.
A Zune 30 and a Kindle 2. The Zune 30 typically goes around 8 hours, and the Kindle 2 runs for about a week. In both cases, it depends a lot on what I do with them.
I use a T-Mobile G1 and iPod Touch daily. The iPod Touch can usually last through whatever I want to use it for, but the G1 often dies by late afternoon if I don’t charge it while I’m at my desk. I usually carry a spare battery for the G1.
I use my Samsung Omnia every day and recently bought a second battery which I have to switch out on most days.
This would be a godsend.
Iphone 3G. I travel a lot, and always run out of juice at the worst possible time…on the plane, or right after I have arrived and am trying to check voicemail. The Callpod would be a hugh benefit!
I use my Palm Centro and Zune 4 everyday. The Palm battery lasts maybe a day depending on how much I use it. I actually think it may be starting to lose its capacity to hold a full charge. The Zune usually lasts 3/4 days if I only use it on and off at work.
Gone back to college full time only to learn that cellphones were barely affordable and took a backpack then. The cell signal is still not much better. Curse the cinder block. A battery than can run two days last 4.5 hours there. A proud Mogul owner drooling over the Touch Pro 2.
I have an iPhone 3G, and work as a network engineer. I have literally run through my battery before noon more than once. That said, it usually lasts until about 4 pm, so about 9 hours. My girlfriend has a Blackberry 8130, and a Zune Originals 4 gig in red. The BB lasts DAYS, (I am a touch jealous) and the Zune lasts a very long time..

I use my iPhone and blueAnt stereo headphones every day.
The iPhone if I am careful about which games and how long I play them will last all day. the headphones usually last 1-2 days
But this morning I was catching up on my shows on the iPhone and it died w/ 5 minutes left. I had to ride the last 15 minutes of my commute with no electronic device to play with. It was a sad sad day.

My most used devices are an iPhone3G, JawboneII BT headset and a Dell Mini9 net book. Have to charge these device every .5-2days. With Wifi now available on flights, I can really burn thru the battery life. A “FuelTank” would really help.
My iPhone 3GS that is rarely more than 4 inches from my hand. I keep chargers on my desk, car and nightstand otherwise I don’t think the battery would make it through the day!
I use a Palm Pre which lasts less than a day. …this is a major problem. I also use an iTouch! The battery usually lasts until I’m about half way through my gym workout! Argh!

I-C502 battery lasts about a day and half
I use the LG Dare (micro USB) and an iTouch. The Dare can barely last 5 hours because of continuous data usage and calls. My iTouch gets only about 4.5 hours because of Wi-Fi usage. I’m sure this battery would really help out.
My iPhone 3GS last between 6 and 12 hours depending upon dat usage-much heavier on weekends. My Nokia E-71 on the otherhand lasts two full days, even with data usage, unless I am tethering. Backup power is ALWAYS welcome!
Bill
My Samsung u520 cell phone lasts about 4 days and my Palm m500 lasts about 5 days.
I have a Motorola Droid that I use liberally throughout the day. A charge lasts maybe 20 hours with my typical usage. I use it in the car as my nav and stereo head unit, jacking the audio out into the aux in on my car stereo system. I don’t use the location-aware social apps really. I do alot of SMS, some MMS, a little photo snapping, and some phone usage. Also a fair amount of browsing. Just figured out how to encode movies properly for use on the phone, so looking fwd to it being my media device on a trip I’m starting tomorrow morning. The Fueltank Duo would be incredibly handy for the 7-hour plane ride. The battery’s bound to kick out after a few hours of constant video use.
