New Redbox iPhone App Gets You Promo Codes

In this recessionary, downsizing, jobs-loss economy, we all need to cut back a bit.  No more dinners out; Netflix or Redbox instead of a night at the movies; staying home to watch The Game on TV instead of shelling out a wad to see it in person.  Getting the regular milk instead of the organic.  Fish ‘n Chips instead of grilled salmon.  Hell, even clipping coupons.  Virtual or otherwise.

“Clipping coupons,” did I say?  Indeedly-doodly.  And right in that zone comes a new iPhone app by Neese products, the “Red Box Free Rental Promo Codes” application.  Which, as you might imagine, helps you find promo codes.  According to the Neese folks the app, “serves up money-saving promo codes for the popular Redbox video rental self-service kiosks found nationwide.”

So instead of clipping coupons, or looking up promo codes online, you can download this application for $0.99, and get the codes delivered to your iPhone twice a day.  If you’re a regular Redbox consumer, that’s not a bad deal at all.

Developed by Neese Products, the “Red Box Free Rental Promo Codes” is a handy iPhone app that serves up money-saving promo codes for the popular Redbox video rental self-service kiosks found nationwide. Priced at just 99 cents, the easy-to-use app provides the latest promo codes for obtaining free DVD rentals at participating kiosks.  Codes are updated twice daily and also feature a ranking system to ensure the validity and usefulness of each promo offered. The app allows users to quickly rate the successful use of each code, further improving the quality of those offered.

At 99-cents, this app pays for itself after one successful use!

The Neese Products app can be found in the iTunes store by searching for keyword “red box free rental promo codes” or “Neese products”.

Riding the nerd wave, he got a Computer Science degree and entered the tech industry at a young age, deciding after a year and a half of front-line phone technical support that he should try something, *anything* else. He settled on technical writing, and has been cranking out documentation for companies like Unisys, SGI, Cisco, Juniper, and many others ever since. The fact that he commutes between his family in Austin and his day job in California is something that he is simply trying to live with. (Isabelle the Corgi helps.)

Inside Redbox is an application that has been showing Redbox codes for a long time. http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/inside-redbox-mobile-pro/id306217360?mt=8

Check it out. It also shows redbox locations, redbox inventory at those locations and allows you to rent redbox movies right from your iPhone.

I haven’t tried the Neese Products app here….but I’ve been a long time user of Inside Redbox and it is indispensable for finding locations and renting movies.

On the Redbox code front….Redbox codes have dropped off considerably since the summer. Redbox isn’t handing out as many free codes as they once did…..so I imagine that this app will give you a lot of codes that are old or specific to one type of store.

I highly recommend the Inside Redbox app….the app is good and the developers have been working very closely with Redbox.
