Now, this is by no means a full listing of everything that is available.  This isn’t the doorbuster sales stuff or all the online stores. This is just a sampling of what we think is the best of the best deals. There is just too much to cover.  Luckily, other folks have taken up the charge and put together some truly amazing web sites that have a listing of ALL the Black Friday deals out there.  Here are the ones we recommend:

  • Dealvista.com. They have compiled an Excel spreadsheet with over 6000 deals available.  Its available for download or you can use Google Docs to look.
  • BFAds.net.  They have a running list of Black Friday ads available for searching.
  • BlackFriday.info. They have all the ads broken down by vendor, complete with icon for easy navigation.

Also, Istobe.com has the listings of all the retailers and vendors offering FREE shipping this year.

Lastly, don’t forget that Monday is Cyber Monday, Black Friday-like deals , except online.   The sites mentioned in this report also have those deals covered.

And now, a few fast minute tips for those taking the plunge on Black Friday–

If you are camping out the night before:

  • Bring a folding chair.
  • Bring a blanket and/or wear warm clothes (depending on your location)
  • Bring a cooler full of goodies and a thermos full of your beverage of choice
  • Bring something to do– a book, portable DVD player with batteries, iPod, iPhone, etc

For the rest of you bargain hunters:

  • Do your research before.  Between articles like this one that you are reading and other sites around the Internet, you should be able to pinpoint what you are searching for and form a plan.
  • Have a plan.  Don’t just say, ” Well, I’ll go to XXX and just shop.”  You’ll get run over by people who have a mission and know what they are getting.
  • Don’t get discouraged if you don’t get what you want.  Remember, there is always Cyber Monday (same deals, just online).
  • Try to remember that above all — it’s a time of holiday love, family and peace.

Happy Shopping everyone!
