Way back in 2005 Aspyr released a light-hearted and nicely stylized zombie-action game called “Stubbs the Zombie in Rebel Without A Pulse”. The game got fairly average reviews, including my own for GamerDad which praised the music and style but also said “because of the short game length, linearity and the lack of unlockable content or multiplayer there is very little replayability and therefore questionable value. As a budget-priced game this is must-have, but for a full-priced game it is harder to recommend for anyone except fans of zombie films.” Well, the game has shown up as a budget buy before, but now as part of their campaign of saying THANKS to all of their loyal customers, Aspyr is giving the game away for *FREE*! Read on for the details.
Now until next Monday (November 30th), you can head on over to the website GameAgent and plug in the code ‘ASPYRTHANKS‘ to get the game for free.
Originally released in 2005, Stubbs the Zombie in Rebel Without a Pulse made news because it was a creative action game from the same minds that originally worked on Halo. In case you missed it back then, GameAgent is currently running a promotion on the downloadable PC version of the game – they’re giving it away completely FREE of charge.
Go to the Stubbs the Zombie order page and choose to download the game. Use the coupon code ASPYRTHANKS to reduce the price from $10 to FREE. After that, just finish check out to get your download link and serial number.
As Stubbs, you can:
* Play as a Zombie and give those unpleasant, violent humans a piece of your mind…by eating theirs

* Spread Zombie Love by eating the brainsof your enemies and adding them to your own personal zombie horde
* Possess unsuspecting humans and use their weapons against their friends
* Use Your Body as a Weapon in the deadliest offense ever: explosive gut grenades, zombie sputum, asevered hand that can crawl through tight spaces
* and possess the living, ahead that doubles as an unholy bowling ball, and flatulence beyond the ken of mortal men.
