I first met Judie some two years ago. At the time I was writing for Patrick over on Just Another iPhone Blog. Patrick had the great idea of putting together internet radio program and for the next weeks a number of us “met” each Monday night to talk about our favorite gadgets. Judie definitely had a way of bringing both knowledge and “color” to the show. She thought she sounded like a “dork”. We all knew better.

Sadly we all got too busy and the show was short lived. It was fun while it lasted.

Judie never seems happy with how she sounded on the radio. I KNOW! So silly. Even still, she was brave enough to jump back into the waters. This time, however, it will be on the major New York Area station WOR 710AM.

My wife Elana has been producing two shows that a friend has had on WOR Radio. One of them, the ”Ideal Businessman” is part of Joe Bartlett’s morning show from 8:05 – 8:30am on Saturday’s. Elana met Judie when she was in the city a few weeks ago and it was clear- between Judie’s life as a rancher and her notoriety as a tech blogger, she would make a great guest.

Well, she agreed to do the show (finally) and she DID! make a great guest. Andy is a tough sell and he thought she was awesome!

The show airs tomorrow at 8:05am! It will stream live at: http://www.wor710.com/The-WOR-Saturday-Morning-Show/3758265, and a podcast will be available after the show airs.

Ya’ll ought to tune in now… ya hear???

Having a father who was heavily involved in early laser and fiber-optical research, Dan grew up surrounded by technology and gadgets. Dan’s father brought home one of the very first video games when he was young and Dan remembers seeing a “pre-release” touchtone phone. (When he asked his father what the “#” and “*” buttons were his dad said, “Some day, far in the future, we’ll have some use for them.”) Technology seemed to be in Dan’s blood but at some point he took a different path and ended up in the clergy. His passion for technology and gadgets never left him. +Dan Cohen
