FindMyCar

Remember those days when you would sometimes forget where you parked your car? Worry no more! FindMyCar by Anagog is here to save your day!

FindMyCar runs in your Windows Phone’s background  and uses the GPS to estimate where you last parked your car. FindMyCar will activate GPS only when connected to the car charger so battery power consumption is not affected. Once FindMyCar succeeded in estimating your car’s position, you can click the car icon and it will show up on Google Map.

Now, you no longer have to worry because no matter where you go, your last parked position will show on Google Map, with your current location.

Requirements:-

  • Devices running Windows Mobile 5 or later
  • Internal GPS
  • Car Charger
  • Microsoft Compact Framework 3.5

Best of all, it’s available to you for free! Get it here! :)

I need it to find my keys first

lamjv: Well, this application will only work if you have your phone connected to the car charger. So in other words, it won’t work if your phone is not charging. I guess the main reason for this is because the developer is worried that if the application is running in the background all the time, it would consume too much of your phone’s battery, since it turns on your phone’s internal GPS. I hope that answers your question. :)

Jewelzz: Let’s hope they make one called FindMyCarKeys. :P
