Monster Cable has just sent their Holiday Gift Guide, and I can see at least one item on it that I need right now – #5, the Monster Outlets to Go Power Strip w/ USB.

They’re offering 30% back in “Monster Bucks” toward future purchases, so if you order multiple items for multiple people, you might want to break it up into multiple orders and save. I’ve attached the entire shopping guide, so take a moment to look though it and compare it against your naughty and nice list. :-)

With the holidays officially off and running, Monster Cable has created a simple way to not only skip the lines, but also to get 30% in Monster Bucks to use on future purchases!  Just check out this great Monster Bucks Holiday Gift Guide and purchase the product online at MonsterCable.com – you’ll earn 30% of your total purchase* to put towards more Monster Gear!

*Terms and conditions can be found here.

For example, purchase the Beats by Dre Studios at $349.95 and receive 105 Monster Bucks!  That’s only 15 Monster Bucks shy of a new pair of Heartbeats by Lady Gaga ($119.95) on your next purchase!

Here’s this year’s “Monster Bucks” Holiday Gift Guide from Monster Cable:

1. Monster High Speed HDMI Cables

Giving the gift of great picture quality and sound this holiday?  Don’t forget the cable.

Forget to supply a quality HDMI cable with that “High Def” flat screen and “HD” quickly becomes a “Huge Disappointment.”  There’s nothing worse than hearing “Man, that sucks” right after someone opens your gift and finds out they can’t use it correctly!  So, don’t let these three words define your gift.

2. Monster GreenPower Digital PowerCenters

Electronics are to be on the gift list for this holiday season – and so should this electro-gadget-protecting device from Monster!  Go Green this December and continue saving cash after the holidays with great products like GreenPower!

3. Monster Turbine Pro In-Ear Headphones

Do you critique your headphones just as much as you scrutinize the music you listen to?  If so, you might just be “Audio Obsessed.”  But, don’t worry, Monster has designed just the set of headphones for you.  Turbine Pros are designed by audio fanatics so you’ll get the clarity, detail and dynamic range of the finest studio monitors or audiophile reference loudspeakers.  And with the Monster “Unheard of Lifetime Guarantee,” this is one gift you won’t have to worry about breaking.

Giving something with a screen this year?  Chances are, you will.  Don’t forget to wrap it with a bottle of Monster ScreenClean – perfect for keeping all your device displays clean, clear and bacteria-free!

5. Monster Outlets to Go Power Strip w/ USB ***Monster Stocking Stuffer***

We all know how much traveling goes on during the holiday season, and that causes problems for phones, mp3 players, cameras and other gadgets.  Keep your friends’ and family’s portable digital devices charged with the pocket-sized Outlets to Go from Monster Cable.  There’s even a USB port!  (Available in multiple outlet combinations.)

6. Miles Davis Tribute Headphones

Tired of that same ol’ boring holiday music?  If so, grab some classic Miles Davis jazz-tastic holiday grooves – and get in the holiday spirit hearing the sounds through the official Miles Davis Tribute Headphones by Monster.  These buds not only sound amazing, but are stylistically inspired by the definition of cool.

I started Gear Diary on September 30, 2006, and my goal was that this not be an easily labeled site. We all have gear that we use daily – some of it electronic and some of it organic. I think it is fascinating to explore the equipment that makes our lives easier, more entertaining, more productive, and more manageable. My hope is that Gear Diary visitors will find this site to be a comfortable and friendly place to discuss interesting topics – and not only those that are tech related, as well as a location to discover various types of gear – whatever that term may end up implying – that they never knew existed. My specialty is in-depth reviews written in a layman’s terms, because everyone can understand technology, sometimes it just takes a little translating. +Judie Stanford

Great post, although some of these items like the HDMI cable are obviously overpriced. Why should I buy a cable from Monstercable that supposedly offers better picture quality, when a $5 cable from Monoprice gets the job done?

You shouldn’t, if that’s the case. Buy the Monoprice. :-)

i’ve seen that outlets to go thing before… its actually pretty sweet!! and i dont really think its terribly overpriced like most monster stuff is!

I actually have two of the Monster Cable Outlets to Go strips; a three outlet strip, and a three outlet with USB strip. What I like the best about either is that when I travel to Europe (and Australia in a few days), I only need ONE adapter to plug the strip into the foreign outlet; the strip then covers all of my gadgets – laptop, phone, camera battery and iPod all at once.

And the price really IS reasonable…if you buy through Amazon! ;)

I seriously need to purchase at least one of those Cables to Go strips, so thank you for the tip, mcsouth. :-)
