The news from Google just keeps on coming!

  • Downloading all of your content hasn’t been easy when using Google Docs; you had to check off each document separately, and it took a lot of time and patience.  Well now, Google has fixed this by allowing all Google Doc users to export everything (in 2GB zip files) at once.  This will be a great way to have that set of backups, just in case.
  • Google Groups has been a great way to have email distributions lists for personal and small business use.  Google has now expanded Google Groups into Google Apps for Domains. Businesses can now use Groups for mailing lists as always.  There is also the ability to share documents, spreadsheets, presentations, calendars, videos and sites with a group of people, not just one person at a time.
  • Google has launched a new news service called Living Stories. This experiment from Google Labs  gathers a complete coverage of an on-going story at one URL rather than leaving users to click a bunch of links in search engines to follow stories.

Thanks to The Register, Lifehacker and Geek.com for the heads up on these breaking events.
