Its only 10 more shopping days until Christmas is here.  Haven’t figured out yet what to get that favorite geek in your life?  How about Google Chrome, the web browser making all the headlines these past few weeks?

Google wants people to know about and use their flagship web browser.  So, they figured out a way to do a tie in to Christmas.  Its a theme for them, starting with the Christmas postcard giveaway they did a few weeks back.

To give the gift of Chrome, go to the Chrome for Christmas web site, choose some themed “wrapping”  paper which gets wrapped around the Google Chrome logo and then is delivered via email to the person receiving the “gift.”  They will also get an e-card in which people can design with pictures, videos, etc. When you “unwrap” the gift, it will prompt them to download Chrome.

Oh, and if you want some more Christmas cheer for Chrome, download the Christmas radio extension that will play sky.fm’s Christmas radio in the background.
