Evernote has just announced the release of a native application for Android devices. Although it is an initial release it is already a pretty powerful way to capture notes, images and more. Better still, judging from the rapid update path it seems move than likely Android users can expect the app to become increasingly robust in the coming months.
Here’s a first look…
The new Evernote for Android application features…

–The ability to create text notes, snap photos and record audio along with easily attaching files to notes

–Native note browsing that allows the user to easily browse and search through all notes
–Synchronization features so all notes are accessible in desktop or web versions from the Android

–Android menu functionality that lets you browse notes, set location awareness view Saved Searches
–Location capturing whenever you create a note
