When you think of some of the bigger names in the tech. blogging community, who comes to mind?  Senior Editor of Mac Life Susie Ochs, Jeff Scott Founder of 148apps.com, Victor Agreda Jr., Writer/Blogger, TUAW and now our very own Senior Editor, Dan Cohen.

Really?  Well at least someone feels Dan belongs in that great list of writers.

Appigo is holding an iPhone App Developer Contest and will award $5,000 for the application which best integrates with their popular application ToDo.  Also up for grabs are five $1,000 honorable mention prizes.

The contest begins today and runs through February 9, 2010.

Eligible apps will be judged by a panel of individuals very familiar with the iPhone app market. Mentioned above, Susie Ochs (Senior Editor, Mac|Life), Dan Cohen (Senior Editor, GearDiary.com), Jeff Scott (Founder, 148apps.com), and Victor Agreda Jr. (Writer/Blogger, TUAW), are just a few of those who will weigh in on the final results of the contest.

Interested app developers should obtain the Appigo Third Party Integration files which are available for download on Appigo’s website. These free files include documentation, a sample app, and source code which makes creating new tasks and importing them into Todo a very simple process. Integration with Todo may be done regardless of an app developer’s choice to enter the contest. More information about the developer files and resources can be found on Appigo’s third party developer site at: http://www.appigo.com/developer.
