The iPhone has become a remarkable productivity tool for many of us. We use it to write, manage our lives, and much much more. As I’ve written previously, it can also be used for brainstorming. One of the best applications that I have found for putting a variety of thoughts on “paper” (uhm, “screen”…) is Instaviz.
Instaviz really shows how flexible the platform of the iPhone can be, even on such a small screen. Here is a quick video of it in action.
If you would like to give the application try here is your chance. In the App Store it costs $9.99. We, however, have 8 copies to give out today. For a chance to get one leave a comment below telling us how you might use this neat application in some practical (or even impractical) way.
We’ll give out the codes at 6 PM EST. For more information on the application, or to buy if you don’t win tonight, you can check it out in the iTunes App Store.

I would use it to help organize my thoughts to designing t-shirts.
I like to use this app for organising my to-dos for the day and see whom should I meet for the day.
i'd use it to help plan-out my non-profit
My boss is always asking me to draw him charts – now I'll be able to do it on the iPhone and then email them to him, rather than drawing, scanning and emailing!
I would use this app to help plan out several different projects going on at work.
I'd use it to chart progress for various projects. Looks like it would help make a decent football playbook too.
I would use it to keep better track of my daily to-dos.
I would use this to plan my activities for my next cruise!
I would use this to describe data flow between different information systems
I am constantly interviewing applicants for my pharma company and need to explain our functional group. Drawing on the back of their resume is my usual MO. This would allow me to show the past organization and the future growth, rather than scribbling.
