Madness or Genius? Accessories for Products That Don’t Exist (yet)!

I stopped by Seidio Case’s website today to peruse their Moto Droid accessories, and came across what could best be called a “cart before the horse” graphic.

Seido is promoting cases for the Nexus One. Yes, the mythical Google Phone that may or may not be widely released already has case manufacturers lining up for it.

And it’s not just the Nexus One that inspires such madness. There’s already a website for Apple Tablet Accessories, which boasts:

When the tablet is released, this page will include all possible accesories (sic) to help you find what suits you.

This is taking advanced planning to a whole new level.

    apple still seem to be able to keep their secrets a bit more tighter then google do!

    I think that the availability thing may be just plain…wrong. I am thinking it will be available to all at release time but we have to wait until 2010 to find out.
